Lyric Opera Chicago - The Magic Flute

CTS’S Amazing Spaces!

At the start of the summer, the team embarked upon one of our biggest challenges to date - a full sized house!

The design by Dale Ferguson was for a traditional American clapboard house to become the centre piece for the Lyric Opera of Chicago’s Autumn production of Mozart’s The Magic Flute (Die Zaberflote). The House will sit on a revolve and because of sightlines from the auditorium, it is completely kitted out on the interior; wallpapered, carpeted and even featuring a fully fitted kitchen. With two storeys, upstairs is where performers can hide out and where the trickery is.
